The Amazing Spider-Man 2

I honestly promise I’m not trying to do this; obviously I’m just reeeaaallyyy obsessed with all things comic related. The story of Peter Parker, full-time photographer/student, part-time superhero, is one of my favourites from the Marvel Universe. The appeal of the Spider-Man story is that Peter is a normal guy – he’s not a multimillionaire or an alien from Krypton, he’s just a nerdy average Joe. Off the back of the first reboot film I was super excited to see the continuation of Andrew Garfields Spider-Man, especially accompanied by one of my favourite comic girls Gwen Stacy, portrayed by the incomparable Emma Stone.

The second film focuses a lot on the relationship between Gwen and Peter, amongst their own personal struggles and triumphs and Spider-Mans increasing list of foes. As such there’s not as much fighting as you would expect (although there are a few big fight scenes) and the…
